The Day Off Diet For Men

Many people seem to think that only women go on diets. The Day Off Diet is the latest example of that as it’s a new popular (and very effective) diet plan that women are using to lose weight all over the world. But what about men? There are men who need to lose weight too, is The Day Off Diet as effective for them as it is for women? The answer is absolutely, yes. In fact I think it may be even better suited for men than it is for women (although it of course works for both.)

The Day Off Diet is based on the “Green Light” foods that people should be using as the basis for their diets. Instead of focusing on the foods you cannot eat or even on how much you eat, it is instead focused on what you should be eating. It has been found that if you eat the right foods in the first place, everything else sort of takes care of itself naturally because “Green Light” foods won’t allow you to overeat as it’s their nature to make you feel more full.

This is great for men who like the pattern of eating similar (or even the exact same) foods every day. With this diet you may be able to find something that you enjoy and then eat that thing every morning for breakfast or lunch and that will make your dieting a lot easier. You won’t have to worry about what you’re eating because you’ll already know what you’re eating.

The Day Off Diet (as you may have guessed from it’s name) also includes a regular “day off” from dieting. Once a week you need to take a break from this diet. It’s not a suggestion, it’s a requirement. Why? Because this “day off” actually works in conjunction with the rest of the diet to help you keep your metabolism boosted which makes you lose weight even faster than if you did not have a day off. Of course besides the weight loss benefits, having a “day off” also helps you to be able to stick with the diet longer. It lets you have fun on a Saturday night (Saturday is most people’s choice for their day off) just as if you were not dieting at all. This makes the diet much easier to follow for men with an active social life.

But perhaps the feature of this plan that best suits it for men is the fact that it includes a free strength training guide. Strength training can be very effective for women as well, but it’s men who are usually most excited about this. Each pound of muscle you gain burns an extra 50 calories a day at rest. Obviously if you gain a significant amount of muscle, it makes it much easier to burn fat and to keep that fat off long term. Muscle is the best fat burning tool you can have. As this diet is protein rich it works perfectly in conjunction with the revolutionary strength training program that’s include so that you can build muscle fast.
