Hi essie! If you like avocados you should definitely try whole wheat pasta
with avocado sauce (basically you mash an avocado, season it and add some
water from the pasta to make it even creamier. Before serving add the zest
of half a lemon or lime.) hope you are gonna try it 🙂

definitely going to try almond milk to see if it helps with my sore tummy
Everytime I try to eat really healthy I will buy ALL OF THE vegetables just
so they can slowly die in my kitchen. Not necessarily because I don’t want
to eat them, I sometimes just don’t have the time or energy to make
something that requires more than 10 minutes and after 2 days the veggies
go to waste.
But I hope to someday be able to have a healthy eating routine like you!

Im a fitness instructor and get asked about food all the time. This video
is spot on. Great choice of foods. Great for maintaining a healthy
lifestyle, maybe lacking in leanprotein based foods, although I’m sure you
know that. I think in my line of work that people are in need of education
in this subject so much. Especially young girls. So well done. Keep up the
good work. X

People always say that if you add lemon to water it makes the water taste
better or more like juice. No it doesn’t it makes water taste like crap,
water tastes crap in my opinion anyway, but add lemon and it’s worse just
taste like watered down lemonade. If anyone has any tips to drinking more
water please let me know.

Hey Estee! I’m just starting to pay a little more attention to good as
well. If you’re interested in a good read, try “Sugar, salt, fat: how the
food giants hooked us”, by Michael Moss. It was named one of the best books
of the year of it’s release. It’s not a book on how to eat per se, but it
does make a solid point on how our taste as eating habits are shaped by
companies, investors… People who just couldn’t care less about health and
aim solely on making more and more money. It really changed the way I see
food!

ESTÉE! (Please like so she reads this, love you all) Brown rice is exactly
the same as white rice, it’s just un-bleached! My mum and I found this out,
we were eating wholegrain rice for ages and they stopped selling it so we
tried brown but it’s not the same thing, the bran has still been removed.
You can buy wholegrain basmati from some shops but it’s really expensive.
However, there is still hope! There are other types of rice which you can
only buy wholegrain versions of such as the french Camargue rice which is a
gorgeous red colour or thai black rice which is purple. Your body processes
white and brown rice like sugar but the bran and complex carbohydrates in
wholegrain rice slow down the digestion to avoid a spike in blood sugar,
keep you full for longer and absorb more nutrition from the rice.

Quinoa is the best! I love it in both hot meals and also in cold salads.
Also when you took out the avocado the only thing that came to mind were
the *”avocados from Mexicooo”* commercials in the U.S. lol
I had zero idea that you should be soaking quinoa beforehand. I always
hated the aftertaste! Thank god for you, Estee. I would’ve gone the rest of
my days without eating quinoa. I’m also glad you mentioned fats not being
the enemy, we need fats to absorb certain nutrients and for so much more!
Also that you specified *refined* sugar being the bad guy. Human cells run
on glucose – it is not bad for you to eat sugar! Just not the processed

You should try banana ice cream. It’s so good and I even have it for
breakfast. Lately we’ve been eating black rice. It looks so cool and has
lots of antioxidants too.

There are lots of times where I won’t really need the whole thing, and then
