I’ve always been into Korean products, technology and trends but my trip to Seoul in December has really turned my love into an obsession! I spoke to a lot of regular girls and observed (like a stalker) every face! Here’s a look inspired by what I heard and observed using some of the products that I bought, I hope you like it! X

I can’t guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.
Video Rating: 4 / 5
Random info that K-pop fans will know and be happy about: Moonshot, the
brand Lisa raves about, was started just recently by YG Entertainment, one
of the 3 largest music companies in S. Korea, which houses some of my
favourite K-pop groups and style icons, such as BIGBANG and 2NE1. 😀
One member of 2NE1, Sandara Park, is also a very successful cosmetics
model, I remember she was the model for instance for the Clio mascaras, she
is really a natural beauty and never ages. I’d give anything for a Lisa
Eldridge make-up tutorial done on her!
Thank you for the awesome video, Lisa! ♥ As a make-up artist who is also a
huge fan of Asia and their beauty products, I am so hyped that you’re doing
something like this and loved your Instagram posts about your trip.
This is how I did my everyday makeup until I reached my 20s and started to
try different looks 🙂 I’ve never been to Korea but I just instinctively
did what suited my skin best and this look was my everyday look for all my
teen years (I also added subtly a very thin line of liquid eyeliner)
Seems like Korea is the heaven place to get some makeup I would really love
to go there <3
And another video that taught me so much about the diversity of makeup.
You’re a legend Lisa! ♡
Fascinating! Can’t help but wonder if you’ll incorporate some of the style
and technology you found in Korea into upcoming Lancôme launches!
I’m Korean and really appreciate to Lisa! Most of korean girls has
cushion foundation! The puff which Lisa used in this video, is named “air
puff”. Lisa used this puff like foundation brush but if you want to get
glowing skin, tap it on your face not spread I hope that all you guys
love korean beauty If you want more question about korean beauty, then

Korean makeup haul?
These videos are really refreshing! With all of the Kim Kardashian/Kylie
Jenner makeup tutorials out there, it is so nice to get back to basics and
be gorgeous and beautiful with less makeup! I feel kind of stupid now, for
wearing all of that makeup before with the harsh eyebrows!!! Tonight, I am
trying this look! Thank YOU!!
Could you please share your Korean cosmetic purchase haul?? I would love to
know which products you bought and favor. THANKS!
I love this so much, if anything I’m surprised she didn’t go for a puppy
eye/eyeliner look.
i love this! I love Korean cosmetics, in my opinion I think they’re better
than the ones they sell in the UK.
You should also see K-Pop stars makeup look, they tend to have bold and
dramatic eyeliner looks which I really love too :)
I don’t know how this is possible but, Lisa, I think you look 20 years
younger with this makeup. comparing the start of the video and the end, it
was like going back in time. this is amazing considering you were not using
many products to begin with. it’s like magic. Korean makeup sure is
amazing
Dear Lisa, I never write any comments on youtube but it would mean the
world to me if you could read this. I ‘ve watched every single video you’ve
done, you’ve taught me everything about make up and I am proud to tell you
that you made me a make up artist. My passion became my job which makes me
the happiest person in the world. I just want to say thank you, you’re my
biggest inspiration as a professional but also as a person. Many many
thanks,
Xoxo
Hi! It was so fun to see the Korean Make up trend, because Im a Korean
youtuber! Wow. Explanations were really great! U know the trend really
well! Yes! 광 gwang is a huge trend in Korea. I wonder how u figure out all
the trend other than talking to girls. 🙂
Ty lisa love ur video always..love wot you did with boots no7 foundation
match ur skin that was great idea..u said on video korean comemetic market
is different compare to other countries..u might be surprised with high
qulity product with very affordable price under korean local brands..korea
has a few great OEM cosmetic companies which they can produce vast product
ranges with small cost so if u have great idea you can make your own label
easy..most theses independant brands’products made in same OEM
company..thats why their product quality control is great..korean OEM
companies has great reputation and under their clent list are not only
korean brands but also grobal beauty brands too..hope it helps u understand
korean beauty industry better…xx
Hi +Lisa Eldridge would you mind listing the products you used in the
description of the video? Thanks and loved the video!
You didn’t go to 3CE?
As someone from America, I have to say that most of the makeup trends here
are dreadful. I’m digging the Korean style so much more!
When Korean girls apply cushion, they like to do the “padding” motion to
press the BB cream in
I Abolutely LOVE this video cause you have a perfect understaning about our
makeup style, why we are chasing this kind of makeup effect and you have
very very neutral oppinion toward korean maekup which is from totally
different culture and background of yours….. I highly respect you about
this point that you are trying to keep the young open minded thinking still
in your age….. I was laughing at the end of your tutorial cause when you
padding the lip tint on your lips, it reminds me to seeing my friends when
I was in high school….haha
Thanks for the nice video and review! 🙂
I think it’s because they try to look very natural and youthful.
Having everything light and dewy just makes you look very naturally
beautiful, while having bright lips still allows for that pop of color
I love your videos! Not only are you teaching us about korean makeup you
are also teaching us about their culture which is refreshing!
Love it! Just looks very fresh and dreamy. Very nice. Thanks for this post.
:)
One of my favorite things about shopping for cosmetics in South Korea is
the abundance of samples you get when you are checking out. (Although I
noticed that mostly the bigger brands do this – Etude House, Nature
Republic, etc)… It’s almost like you are getting triple the amount of
stuff you bought but in free samples of their new products! Amazing…
I enjoy watching all of your videos ☆
