A lot of the things said here are just wrong. All food is chemicals! Water
is a chemical! There’s nothing wrong with something being “pumped full of
chemicals”. You eating something completely natural will cause you to
ingest just as many (likely more) chemicals as something artificial.
Furthermore, all healthy food is processed! Without processing you risk
disease and contamination. Most food born illness comes from unprocessed
(raw) milk. Consuming only unprocessed foods is dangerous and stupid.
Furthermore, all the examples given of foods who’ve had their nutritional
value reduced is a straight up lie. You have to do some serious chemical
filtering (like, industrial centrifuges and solvents) in order to remove
the presence of nutrients. Unless you’re a wizard, you aren’t going to
remove nutrients by processing foods.
Preservatives DON’T make food less healthy. At worst, it makes it taste
worse. There’s been plenty of research done on things like fully organic
and natural foods, and they have consistently shown no difference in either
nutritional value or health risk in comparison to products with high
preservatives.
About 90% of the comments here are absolutely moronic. There are even
people saying GMO’s are bad for you, which is ridiculous! You will get less
value from purely natural things than partially synthetic ones. Nature
isn’t made for human consumption. That’s why none of the major plants and
animals we consume occur in the wild. They’re all breed for human
consumption.
idk what’s up with food controls in the states but here in Germany
something like that won’t happen. Every single thing that gets licensed to
be sold is checked multible times over a long period of time to make sure
that it’s 100% what it says it is and doesn’t contain mercury and shit like
that.
if you work in a industry with food, whether you’re a cook, butcher, farmer
or whatever, you have to do a long ass test to get the license, which you
have to get checked again once a year. so I’m not sure why things like
aren’t properly controlled in the USA

While I do agree with you on a few points, but you putting Subway as #2
just makes me think that most of your other selections are utter bullshit
and unreliable. Yes, I know that a lot of them are likely to be opinions
but it still doesn’t escape the fact that your Subway thing was a stupid
choice to do as #2.
No one says you have to add sauces to your sandwiches, they will let you
choose whether to add them or not. Just pick whole grain breads, put
veggies, a small amount of meat and cheese in it and you’re good to go.
While you’re right that a lot of their meats are likely to be processed
somehow, but come on, at least you can add more vegetables in your
sandwich, which is more than what you could say with McDonalds.
Go ahead, tell us, what kind of McD’s sandwiches would contains as much
vegetables as Subway’s, huh? None, is more like it. So saying that we might
as well go to McD’s to get a salad and a Big Mac is actually a really
stupid remark.

Can i get a source on the dried fruit one? Drying fruits in of itself is an
act of preserving. I don’t believe they add extra sugars, but that the
sugar becomes concentrated and that you can consume more in one sitting,
thus consuming more sugars than you would have

Everyone still talking about fat… but its the sugar! The carbs make you
fat! Scratch potatoes, pasta, rice, bread, cola, desserts off your menu and

A big portion of the comments say that being a vegetarian is the way to go.
Guess what, it’s not!
You need meat in yours lives for a natural color. By color I mean skin
color. Now i know that sounds totally retarded, and for some racist but
almost all vegetarians (who are white blonde hair, blue eyes, etc) have no
color skin and are just pale. You need meat, veggies, and fruits to be
healthy.
The only reason people nowadays become vegetarian is because farmers feed
animals other animals poop, etc. These types of meats are sold at fast food
restaurants such as McDonalds, Wendy, Burger King, etc. If farmers stop
using this poop method, chickens would be much better for us.
It also depends on how much of it you eat.
If you eat meat more then veggies, you’ll be unhealthy. If you eat veggies
more then meat, believe it or not, you’ll still be unhealthy. You’ve got to
maintain a balanced diet.
It’s ok to have a “cheat day” once in a while. A burger isn’t going to kill
you. Now if that’s all you’re eating every day , then yeah, that’s
terrible. I used to eat so much garbage & drank a lot and I always felt
terrible. I changed my diet to a high protein and raw foods diet ( along
with protein shakes ) and I started dropping weight like crazy! It’s all
about eating healthy , portion control and eating in moderation!
if being vegan is the way to go, then why do vegans have to take b12
supplements? if being vegan is so natural?
a healthy balance of fruits, veggies, grass fed meat is the way to go
I eat an extremely healthy diet. Vegetarian, No processed foods, no candy,
cakes, milk, or alcohol. I live a very active lifestyle i am 46 years old
6’1 160 lbs. If i ate a poor diet, i’d probably just be content in a chair
in front of my tv. I run 70 miles a week to relax, and have a heart rate of
45 and blood pressure 90/40. I think food passes thru me in less than 12
hours. I ski with my teenage kids and their college friends and i water ski
in the summer. Haters are going to hate, but my point is – eat to live, and
enjoy your life and all your potentials that come with taking care of
yourself. And god bless 2 nice big glasses of water every day.
Atkins, as counter-intuitive as it is, actually worked in many cases. I’m
somewhat skeptical but the numbers do seem to add up.

That being said, I believe a balanced and most importantly fresh diet is
better than any “vegan” or any other dietary plan. It’s not about an
unnatural state achieved through artificial means to preserve health but a
return to the natural one.
Sure, having cloves of Garlic on a steak washed down with a pint will help

eating healthy with zero cholesterol in your diet? Go Vegan.

I felt that maybe those people who were eating the raw veg and fruit for 12
days would have benefited from spending those 12 days with a vegan chef who
specialises in raw vegan food.. Raw food can be delicious when done
properly and it won’t become tedious as I’m sure it did just eating raw
broccoli and carrots 😛
This “experiment” is bullshit. We evolved to eat meat and plenty of fat.
Ok so you watch documentary’s and you read comments. And you are
